Dark Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies

An easy alternative to standard brownies. Very rich, if you prefer less sweetness reduce chocolate chips to 1/2 cup. Excellent for snacks, lunches, or dessert topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Yields: 12 brownie bars Cookie time: 20-25 min Total time: 30 min

Ingredients Needed For Dark Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies
1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 cup Flour
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
1/8 tsp Baking Soda
A pinch Salt
1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips

Directions To Prepare Dark Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies
1. Cream together the butter and brown sugar; beat in egg.
2. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt mixing well. Stir in chocolate chips until well blended.
3. Pour into a greased 8x8-inch pan and gently pat even with a greased spatula.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Check at 20 min (done when toothpick comes out clean when pierced in center).
