Quick and easy to make, the hardest part is waiting for it to set in the refridgerator. Reduce the sugar to 2/3 cup if too sweet. Time to Cook: 15 min Total Time: 1 hour 45 min

Sugar Cream Pie

Ingredients Needed For Sugar Cream Pie
1 9 inch pie crust, cooked
4 tbsp cornstarch
3/4 cup sugar
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
1 cup low fat milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions To Prepare Sugar Cream Pie
1. Mix cornstarch and sugar. Add 4 tablespoons butter, cream, and milk.
2. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat, until thick and creamy. Will happen quickly when it changes but may take some time to get to that point. Add vanilla.
3. Preheat oven broiler to high.
4. Pour mixture into pie crust. Drizzle 2 tablespoons melted butter over top and sprinkle with cinnamon.
5. Put under broiler until butter bubbles--watch it carefully as it doesn't take long, 30-45 seconds.
6. Refrigerate at least an hour, until set.
