Crab & Shrimp Stuffed Salmon w/ White Wine Sauce

This is a very elegant, high class meal. It doesn't take a long time & very easy to make

Crab & Shrimp Stuffed Salmon w/ White Wine Sauce


Ingredients Needed For Crab & Shrimp Stuffed Salmon w/ White Wine Sauce
1/4 cup White Wine
1/4 cup White Wine Vinegar
1 tablespoon Shallots
1 cup Heavy Cream
3/4 cup (1 stick) Butter
3 tablespoon Olive Oil
3 tablespoon Garlic
2 ounces Shrimp
2 ounces (1 can) Can Crab Meat (Lump or White)
2 ounces Brie (cheese)
2 (about 6 oz each) Atlantic Salmon Fillets
1 teaspoon Fresh Dill (eg. relish)

Directions To Prepare Crab & Shrimp Stuffed Salmon w/ White Wine Sauce

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Rinse and pat the salmon dry. Cut a slit vertically down the center of the fillet, just to the skin. Do not cut through the skin.

In a small bowl mix together the crab meat, shrimp, brie, mayonnaise, dill, salt and black pepper.

Generously stuff the crab filling into the slit of the salmon and pack it nice and tight, mounding it on top.

Place the stuffed salmon in a pie plate or other sided baking dish. Add enough of the wine so it comes three-fourths of the way up the fillet. Place the fish in the oven and bake, uncovered, about 20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked to the desired doneness. Most of the wine should absorb into the fish, but there should be some pan juices remaining.

White Wine Sauce

Pour 1/2 teaspoon of Olive Oil in Skillet cook on low fire....Place Shallots....Place 1/2 stick of butter in the skillet.... when almost melted pour garlic powder in the skillet..... Then pour 1 cup of heavy cream into the butter.... then 1/4 cup of white wine ad 1/4 cup of white wine vinegar..... Then place the other 1/2 of butter in skillet..... turn fire low (DO NOT TURN OFF)

Once ur Salmon is done pour white wine sauce over salmon
