Ingredients Needed For Pickled Northern
*1 cup water
*2 cups white vinegar
*2/3 cup Sugar
*1 tablespoon pickling spices
*Muscatel Wine


Directions To Prepare Pickled Northern
*Soak in salt water, soak 24 hours.
*Cover with white vinegar and soak 24 hours.
*Drain put up in alternate layers of fish and sliced onions.
*Make a syrup .
*Boil the syrup 5 minutes.
*Cook syrup and add 1 cup Muscatel Wine.
*Pour over fish and let sit in refrigerator for 3-4 days.
