Harost Balls

Thanks for voting! You already voted!
Harost balls have been a part of Moroccan culture for centuries. They are traditionally a part of the passover feast in Morocco.

Ingredients Needed For Harost Balls
* 2 cups pitted dates
* 1/2 cup golden raisins
* 1/2 cup dark raisins
* 1/2 cup walnuts
* 1-2 tablespoons Zinfandel wine

Directions To Prepare Harost Balls
Put the dates, raisins and walnuts in a food blender for a minute or so, until the contents are finely chopped and begin to stick together

Add the wine and stir until the mixture is of a sticky texture.

Use a spoon to divide the mixture into small sections and put onto a sheet of wax paper.

Dampen your hands so the mixture doesn't stick and roll each mound into a ball.

Put into the refrigerator on the sheet for at least 3 hours before serving.

This recipe should serve 4.
