Ingredients Needed For NORWEGIAN PEA SOUP
*1 pound green or yellow split Peas
*2 quarts boiling water
*1/4 pound lean salt Pork (in one piece)
*1 large carrot, diced
*1 large stalk celery, including leaves, diced
*5 green oinions, including tops, sliced
*2 tsp. salt (varies with saltiness of Pork)
*1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions To Prepare NORWEGIAN PEA SOUP
*Sort Peas.
*Place in boiling water at moderate heat; add salt Pork.
*Cover and simmer about 1-1/2 hours.
*Add remaining ingredients; cover and simmer, stirring, 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until quite thick ).
*Add salt if desired.
